Health Tech Night #19: Advancing Assistive Technology in Academia and Innovation

Join us at the University of Victoria for a Health Tech Night in partnership with the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science! This evening brings together leading voices in academia and innovation, featuring a panel of experts from CanAssist, the Victoria Hand Project, and research in human-computer interaction.

Our panel will dive into the changing landscape of assistive technology - from the hurdles of moving discoveries from the lab into the real world, to what drives them to pursue specific projects, how partnerships across research, engineering, and entrepreneurship take shape, and where the greatest opportunities for impact lie.

Surrounding the 30-minute panel in the Medical Sciences Building Theatre, join us in the lobby for lively discussion, food, and refreshments. Connect with fellow researchers, entrepreneurs, and professionals passionate about health technology and innovation.

We look forward to this opportunity to learn and be part of the conversation shaping the future of assistive technology.

A big thank you to the UVic Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science for partnering with us in this event!
